This is the video piece created for the Retracing Footsteps exhibition at Betws-y-Coed. It’s a first investigation into how might language and the landscape come together.
Presented at 4K resolution on a large screen the viewer will notice among the text and landscape small elements moving up the paths of Yr Wyddfa at a human pace. Only the lights are visible to you in this lower resolution web page.
This piece uses the text from the Victorian visitor books but I am interested in how this might be taken further and the 3D landscape become dynamic and reactive to comments on social media.
