Aimed at bridging the divide between HE and industry the Consortia\u00a0 developed DVD based materials supporting SME\u2019s within the digital design sector covering the areas of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Design Fundamentals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Business &amp; Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intellectual Property Rights and Innovation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These materials fed back into curriculum across a range of academic programmes and encouraged the development of short course provision directly relevant and accessible to industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A series of lectures and workshops across Wales gave industry and students access to expert advice in these three fields in order to help the development of the digital design sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 2005-2007 I was the Director of the Digital Consortia; a Welsh Development Agency funded Consortia of\u00a0 Welsh Universities and industrial training partners.
