Welcome to 3Dpixels
3Dpixels is a working archive of my design practice, image making and research. I think of it as a kind of digital sketch book crossed with a compost heap. I layer individual pixels of practice to see what patterns of design thinking begin to form and grow.
The site is intended for my own reflection and archiving, but since you have found it you are very welcome to take a look at what I do or have done, and if anything is of interest please drop me a line.

About
Since 1990 I have produced visual design work for a range of clients in the public and private sector. I have also taught undergraduate and postgraduate design thinking, research methods and skills, working with traditional and digital media across design disciplines.
Pixels
Materials are added as individual pixels that build up over time. These allow me to look across projects, images and research to see themes and commonalities between elements of practice.
Patterns
Patterns are where I highlight themes or commonalities. The pixel information is grouped on the pattern pages. These may be related to the same project or a design theory and alter as I develop my design thinking and practise.
